A Danish company between Ukrainian producers and European buyers.
NB Energy was started by Yaroslav Koziuk with a simple idea: buy certified fuel at the factory in Ukraine, take care of the border, and sell it to European buyers as a normal Danish supplier would.
Ukraine is one of the largest pellet and briquette producers in Europe, with certified factories and hardwood forests that Western Europe does not have. What it lacks is a simple way for a Danish fuel merchant or a Spanish distributor to buy from those factories. We are that way. We hold the producer contracts, book the transport, clear both borders and deliver a finished truck with EU paperwork.

Logistics and documents
We ship by road in curtain-side trucks, 24 tonnes per load. For Spain and other distant markets, delivery via port is available.
Incoterms
DAP to your warehouse is the standard offer. FCA and EXW at the factory are available for buyers with their own transport, and CIF or DAP port for sea freight.
Documents with every load
Commercial invoice, packing list, CMR, certificate of origin or EUR.1, phytosanitary certificate where required, ENplus certificate and laboratory report for pellets.
Compliance
All pellet producers hold ENplus A1. Wood products are being prepared for the EU Deforestation Regulation with plot-level traceability. Crop-residue products are outside its scope.
Questions buyers ask
Can I order one pallet to test the product?
Yes. First orders often start with a single pallet or a mixed pallet, sent by groupage transport. Most buyers then move to full trucks of 22 to 24 pallets.
Who is the seller on the invoice?
NB Energy, registered in Denmark with VAT number DK43174428. For EU buyers this is an intra-community supply with reverse charge, exactly like buying from a Danish producer.
Which documents come with a delivery?
Commercial invoice, packing list, CMR, certificate of origin or EUR.1, phytosanitary certificate for untreated wood, and the producer's ENplus certificate and latest laboratory report for pellets.
Are the pellets really ENplus certified?
Every pellet producer in our range holds an ENplus A1 certificate with a Ukrainian ID number (UA 009, UA 011, UA 030, UA 037, UA 056). You can verify each ID on the ENplus website.
What about the EU Deforestation Regulation?
We collect geolocation data for the forest plots supplying our pellet, briquette and firewood producers and prepare the due diligence documentation. Bedding and feed products from crop residues are outside the scope of the regulation.
What are the payment terms?
Prepayment for the first order, against an order confirmation and an invoice from NB Energy paid to a Danish bank account in the company's name. Before that you can check our CVR and VAT, receive samples and speak to the owner. Regular buyers move to partial prepayment with the balance on delivery, or agreed credit terms.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 5 to 7 days to Denmark and 8 to 12 days to Spain from the loading date, depending on border queues and the delivery address.
